1) What Pulauku is
Pulauku is a community-first monthly newsletter for people living in, working in, or connected to Lombok. The newsletter is the starting point of a broader “digital home” project by ITEMAP s.r.o., built to help people share useful information and support island life.
2) Newsletter delivery
Pulauku is typically sent about once per month. We use Brevo to collect subscriptions and send emails. Sometimes we may send an extra email for time-sensitive announcements (and sometimes we may skip a month). We keep it low-noise.
3) Eligibility
Subscribing and using this website is intended for people who are at least 16 years old (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country).
4) Community tips & submissions
- If you submit content (events, tips, listings, opportunities), you confirm you have the right to share it.
- You allow us to edit your submission for clarity, length, and formatting.
- We may decide not to publish a submission (e.g., spam, misleading, illegal, harmful, or unrelated content).
- If something is time-sensitive, please include date/time and location details so we can verify and format it.
5) Content, responsibility & accuracy
- Pulauku curates information from public sources and community submissions.
- We try to keep content helpful and accurate, but we cannot guarantee completeness or correctness.
- Any decisions you make based on the newsletter or site are your own responsibility.
6) Links to third parties
The newsletter and website may include links to third-party websites and services. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.

The Pulauku name, branding, website design, and original content are owned by us or licensed to us. You may share newsletter content for personal, non-commercial use with proper attribution.
